27/365 New Lens!

f1.8, ss1/125, ISO3200
Now here is a view of Alex I often see. I guess the same could be said of me with email, blogging and Facebook.

Today I bought a lens that is recommended on Click it Up a Notch (Canon 50mm f1.8 Prime Lens)! For this novice photographer this site is awesome. I learned so much in one day! The biggest discovery was the exposure triangle. Soooo, I've snapped a lot of pics today in manual mode with my new lens, paying attention to that light meter! I invite critiques...I know I have a long way to go!

  7. Looks good! And I'm impressed with the lack of noise considering how high you had your ISO set. What camera are you shooting with?

  8. I'm using a Canon T2i...thanks for the comments everyone. Believe me, I have many grainy pictures. I am practicing though-the exposure triangle is challenging for a newb...hope it becomes more second nature some day!
