I realized this Valentine's Day, that I am not my sons' Valentine any more. Well, maybe in a mom/older son kinda way, but it's not like those glorious younger days when they wanted always to be with me. Yes, I felt a pang of loss for a minute or so...and then I was filled with gratitide that both boys are developing into fine, loving, caring young men.
Joy of Love 15: Kiss
Photo: Not as sharp as I would have liked, but I love the sweet look on Sam's face. James is kissing her so tenderly. f/2.2, 1/125, ISO 3200, 50mm
Looks like you caught a moment. I think I'm blushing! And what do you mean you're not your son's Valentine?! I plan on being my son's forever! wink, wink (he's only 2 now!).
