244/366 Blue Moon and Mystery

Tonight we went to see Sam perform the lead role in Agatha Christie's "Black Coffee." The play was so much fun and it was really tough to figure out "who dunnit!" The performance was very professionally done, but no one surpassed the acting quality and beauty of Samantha! Good show!

As we walked out of the theater, I was able to capture a fairly good shot of the "Blue Moon!" Blue moons and mystery go hand in hand...just sayin'...

237/366 A Proper Thank You

My dear friend, Carol, and I have been trying to get together for lunch for ages, it seems. Today, we did it; we had lunch together at Cafe Max! Finally, I was able to properly thank her for all the work she did organizing Bill's Ordination Anniversary Gala. Thanks again, Carol, for your friendship and kindness!

232/366 New President

Today, the St. Monica chapter of Daughters of the King, began our 2012-2013 year with a rededication of our vows of prayer, service, and evangelism, led by The Rev. Betsy Randall. Tina, pictured here, is our new president. I volunteered to be the new Historian in charge of photography and publicity, taking over from Sherrel, who has done an amazing job for three years! Add that to my duties leading the New Member Study. I'm excited about the new year; DOK is one way I am able to focus on what matters most.

229/366 Cute!

Alex loves to talk with his Uncle Michael in Annapolis! They make each other laugh!

Alex, taking his Papa for a ride! I cant believe he won't let Bill or I drive it! YET...

Bill's mom, Ruth, made the clown costumes back in 1960.
Two of her three boys, Mark and Mike, wore them, then Mark's girls, Laura and Julie, wore one of them in the 80's,
and then our boys, James and Alex, wore it in the 90's.
Who's next?

227/366 Summer Puzzle

I enjoy piecing puzzles together, but I have an issue with this one.
Can you see the problem in the close-up? BUMMER!
But, wait... amazingly, the missing piece was in the puzzle a few days later.
OK, who had the last piece?
